Q: If we were to scroll through your iPod, what song would you be most embarrassed for us to find?

A: I’m really into early 90′s hip hop. Sir Mix-a-lot, Salt N Pepa, Kriss Kross, you name it. You will not only find their hits on my iPod, but I can sing every single lyric to you. Classic!

Q: How would you describe your personal style?

Q: We LOVE vintage. What is your all-time favorite “vintage” item? Why?

A: My stepfather’s vintage 50′s suitcase which was a hand-me-down. I use it as a side table in my living room and to carry my artwork when I head to shows – both functional, cute, and sentimental which is always a plus.

Q: As an artist, what inspires you most?

A: It’s hard not to be inspired by everything in my day to day life, like a trip to the farmer’s market or the lines in a sidewalk, but if I had to choose one thing I am most inspired by it would be nature.

Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? What’s the worst?

A: Best – Be brave. Worst – Probably not walking out of a job that I wasn’t happy at because it wasn’t realistic or the “professional” thing to do. On a positive note, I can now look back at those days and it reminds me of how lucky I am to now make a living doing what I love. I found myself in the end.
