Okay film buffs, love to take developing into your own hands, but don’t like all of the ins and outs of disposing chemicals??? Well, here is a method I had heard of but was always hesitant to try myself. Here is a video with everything you need to develop your own film, in your own house, with everyday things you can find at the store. In short, the Caffenol process’ main ingredients are instant coffee grounds and Vitamin-C!!! Once I saw this how-to video I became extremely excited about trying this out myself with the box of old film at home that I have yet to get developed (I don’t even know what are on these rolls anymore).
Also, there is a Make Flickr pool at the end of the video in case you try to do this for yourself. There are also some great Caffenol discussion groups on Flickr, as well, to troubleshoot any issues or concerns you may have when developing.
