We are often inspired by work that uses something ordinary to make something extraordinary.  Studio Snowpuppe is the Etsy shop of architect Nellianna and industrial designer Kenneth – the two designers take the most humble of materials, paper, and transform it into beautiful and intricate light pendants.  The clean geometry and spring-time hues of the lamps are what first drew our eye. Trying to choose a favorite color would be a challenge!  Aside from being visually appealing, the shades are to be used with energy-saving lightbulb or LED lightbulb only – the design intent was to give the energy efficient bulbs a warm glow similar to that of the sun.  The whimsical story about the namesake snowman Snowpuppe and how the paper shade design came to be is definitely worth reading!
